WHEN: AUGUST 22ND AND 23RD
The G - TOUR OMNIUM this year will be hosted by MAC 5 BIKES. The road race will take place Saturday Aug. 22nd at the Frost Ridge course. Sunday the 23rd will be a short but challenging TT, finishing at the top of Parish Hill, followed by a Criterium at the Fishers course.
The omnium is open to all GVCC Women, B4, and B5 members. This will also be open to non club members (Category 4, 5, open women) so help spread the word. Registration fee is $15 for one or all 3 events. Double points towards club standings will be awarded for the overall standings. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each category overall.

Individual Stage Information
Registration
Registration fee: $15 for entire weekend or single event. Checks can be made payable to "GVCC". Registration will only be "day of", and will open at 8:30am and close at 9:30 am
Overall place will be decided based on points. You will earm a base of 50 points for each event entered. See specific race information below for additional points breakdown.

Please print and fill out a USAC release to bring to the event!
Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 in the overall classification for each category.
1st - $100 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO MAC 5 BIKES
2nd - $75 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO MAC 5 BIKES
3rd - $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO MAC 5 BIKES
4th - CANNONDALE MULTI TOOL
5th - BAG OF JOE BEAN COFFEE (WEBSTER, NY)
Since Mac 5 Bikes is running the event, if anyone from the Mac 5 Bikes team ends up in the top 5, their prize will be passed on to the next highest placed rider.
If you win a gift certification and are not from the Rochester area, please see one of us after the race. We can arrange for you to order something over the phone and we'll ship it to your house.
Frost Ridge Road Race - Saturday, August 22nd

Feed Zone will be on the hill before the start/finish.
Neutral water will be provided.
Parking
Chuck Hazelton has been nice enough to let us use his field/alpaca farm for parking again as we did last year. This is within the loop for the race. To get to the start/finish line from here, take a left out of the parking area and another left on Hebbard Road. The race will be run clockwise on the course as usual. The finish is at the top of the hill on Hebbard Road.

Start Times
B4 Men (Category 4) - 9:40 am - 10 laps, approx 56 miles.
B5 Men (Category 5) - 9:45 am - 7 laps, approx 40 miles.
Women (Open) - 9:50 am - 7 laps, approx 40 miles.
Points
20 to winner then 18,17,16...etc down to 1 point for 19th place.
3,2,1 point KOM bonus for the firs 3 riders to cross the start/finish line at the top of the hill on the first lap.
3,2,1 point sprint bonus for first 3 riders to cross sprint line on Beulah Road on lap 3.

Porta Potties will be available at the parking lot.

Parish Hill TT - Sunday, August 23rd

Parish Hill TT
Just under 3 miles in length starting on Boughton Hill Rd just east of Rt 64 and finishing at the top of Parish Hill. To get to the start, head south from the criterium parking lot, cross Rt 251 and continue south on Strong Road. Turn right on Boughton Hill road to find the start just east of Rt 64.
Registration/Check In
Check in/Registration - 7:45-8:30am
Check in to confirm your TT start time if you raced the day before.
Register if you did not participate in the Road Race.
Parking
Please park in the Printer Components parking lot that we usually park in during G-Tour Crit races.

Start Times
Start times will be based on placement in the Frost Ridge Road Race. First rider will go off at 9:00am. Riders only participating in Sunday events will be started at the end of their category. Women will start first, followed by B5s and B4s. Riders will be started at 30 second intervals.
Points
Overall place in the TT will be scored the same as above for the road race, starting with 20 points for the fastest time. TT places and overall placement will be posted before the criterium starts.
Other Information

Fishers Criterium - Sunday, August 23rd

Start Times
Women will be started shortly after the TT is completed. Actual start times may be adjusted on the day of the event.
Women (Open) - 10:30 am - 30 laps, approx 18 miles.
B5 Men (Category 5) 11:30 am - 35 laps, approx 21 miles.
B4 Men (Category 4) 12:30 pm - 40 laps, approx 24 miles.
Prizes and podium presentations will follow your crit event, so racers will not have to wait around for 2 hrs to collect their prizes!
Points
Placement in the criterium will be scored the same as mentioned for the Frost Ridge Road Race, starting with 20 points for the winners.
3 primes in each race worth 3, 2, and 1 points each.
General Information
Awards will be given after the event is completed and points are tallied. Podium photos for the top 3 in each category, so stick around!
General First Aid items will be available throughout the weekend in the event your wheels come off the pavement (not recommended).
